Detinjstvo i mladost je proveo u Sremskim Karlovcima, gde je zavr\u0161io Gimnaziju i U\u010diteljsku \u0161kolu. Radio je u Bege\u010du, kao u\u010ditelj i ujedno direktor Osnovne \u0161kole. P\u010delinjak je dr\u017eao u Sremskim Karlovcima potez \u2013 Veliki Matej. Mitar je sa desetak godina po\u010deo pomagati ocu i tako postao zaljubljenik u p\u010delarstvo, \u010demu je i danas odan. Od oca je nasledio bogatu p\u010delarsku biblioteku koju je stalno dopunjavao, a to radi i danas. Kao pedantan \u010dovek ve\u0107 godinama bele\u017ei sve u vezi sa svojom pasiom.\nDolaskom u Bege\u010d, 1947. godine, formira p\u010delarsku podru\u017enicu sa sedamnaest p\u010delara i obavlja du\u017enost predsednika i sekretara, a kasnije samo sekretara do 1960. godine. Sakupio je skoro sve brojeve \u010dasopisa ,,P\u010delar'' od 1947. god. do danas. U Bege\u010du je konstruisao i izradio 24 ko\u0161nice tipa ,,polo\u0161ka'' sa 22 rama (40\u00d730) i naselio p\u010delama. Selio je na dobre pa\u0161e od Ba\u010dke Palanke, Mladenova, Subotice, Vizi\u0107a, Ne\u0161tina i Suseka do Sremskih Karlovaca.\nPo savetu velikog p\u010delara Du\u0161ana Simonovi\u0107a izradio je 86 novih LR ko\u0161nica. Iz tog vremena pokazuje fotografije svog p\u010delinjaka koji je bio jedan od najure\u0111enijih i najlep\u0161ih u Vojvodini, po kome su ga poznavali mnogi znameniti p\u010delari i delegacije iz zemlje i inostranstva.\n1986. godine, zbog naru\u0161enog zdravlja rasprodaje sva LR dru\u0161tva i pravi 99 ,,polo\u0161ki'' \u010dime posti\u017ee maksimum od 120 dru\u0161tava, sa kojima je radio lak\u0161e i br\u017ee.\nNjegovo iskustvo govori da na dobrim pa\u0161ama ,,polo\u0161ka'' sa 22 rama daje bolje prinose od svih drugih tipova.\n1969. godine u\u010dlanio se u \u017eelezni\u010darsku p\u010delarsku zadrugu u Novom Sadu, a 1973. god. postaje jedan od \u010dlanova osniva\u010da p\u010delarskog Dru\u0161tva ,,Jovan \u017divanovi\u0107'' u Novom Sadu. Mitar poseduje vi\u0161e p\u010delarskih dnevnika sa mno\u0161tvom bitnih podataka o p\u010delinjim pa\u0161ama, prinosima, borbi protiv p\u010delinjih bolesti do proizvodnje i zamena matica. O svom p\u010delarenju namerava da ostavi pisane tragove, ukoliko mu zdravlje to dozvoli.\nOd 2003. godine, kad mu je zdravstveno stanje bitno naru\u0161eno, sa 120 komada, p\u010delinjak smanjuje na 60, koje i pored izuzetnih napora i vredno\u0107e te\u0161ko odr\u017eava.\n\u010cudnom igrom slu\u010daja nema zna\u010dajnijih p\u010delarskih priznanja.\nKao enciklopedijski poznavalac p\u010delarstva u Vojvodini i iskusan p\u010delar, na inicijalnom sastanku za izradu monografije Dru\u0161tva ,,Jovan \u017divanovi\u0107'' u\u0161ao je u odbor, gde \u0107e kao radan i odgovoran \u010dovek, nadam se, dati puni doprinos njenoj izradi.<\/span>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section
